Mechanical engineer working in the capacity of engineering design applications developer for Bentley Systems. Involved in the development of MicroStation and AutoCAD based infrastructure design products (plant engineering and analysis) with a primary focus on 3D geometry programming using in-house developed engines, design feature enhancements, UX improvements, and overall technical product development. Consistently leveraging extensive CAD education and solutions experience – coupled with a natural tendency to creativity, innovation, and the drive for perfection – to develop world class design products.
Currently working on 3D engineering design applications features and content development for the plant design domain.
Parametric components development, implementation of features pertaining to piping and piping support design and placement, development and support for isometric generation tools, interoperability between plant design products, research and development for new systems in the software, coordination with professional services and support groups for resolution of client issues. Working on complex multi-layered code based on C++ / C# core with VBScript / IronPython layers for performing higher level operations in the product.
Persistently focused on a zero defect tolerance policy by managing backlogs, iteration planning, developing product design strategy, comprehensive documentation, and thorough attention to detail.
